He is the Bank of America Distinguished Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at NC State University, and is a prolific author of articles and books, most recently The LIVING Supply Chain (co-authored with Tom Linton). He is a consultant to Fortune 500 companies and US federal agencies, and a speaker with focus on the fields of strategic sourcing, supply market intelligence, and supplier development.
